Thin film solar cell maker First Solar Inc. (FSLR) Wednesday said it would and Edison International (EIX), a subsidiary of Southern California Edison started with two solar power projects.
First Solar will supply the roof of a 2-megawatt solar system, this will be the roof of California's largest solar power plant.
The company also plans to sell Southern California Edison, California Blythe a new solar power plant by the production of electricity, this plant will be the state's largest solar power plant on the ground.
California Public Utilities Commission has this power plant approved a 20-year power purchase agreement.
